Before you book your appointment, there are a couple things I would like to go over to make your experience the Best of the Best!

How Should I Arrive?

Returning Clients

  • Come as you are
  • (If you need assistance with matted hair, please reach out 48-72hrs before your appointment to prevent any cancellations. Therefore, your Stylist can plan Accordingly & you'll get the time and attention you need, thank you so much)

New Clients

  • Come with your best wash n go on non matted hair (no longer than 2days old) 
  •  I need to see your Natural curl pattern.
  • No Butters or custards in the hair please
  • ✅ Yes, foam, gel or leave ins
  • Detangle your hair when it is soaking wet, then dry it.
  • Do not brush out your natural curls when dried.
  • This allows your natural pattern and shrinkage factor to reveal itself when completing your Dry Cut.
  • Hair must be dry........... (Airdried, Diffused or Hooded dryer.)

 

  • Hair Worn down. No Buns, Ponytails, Braids, Twists or tension at any time, the day of your appointment.
  • (If you need assistance with matted hair, please reach out 48-72hrs before your appointment to prevent any cancellations. Therefore, your Stylist can plan Accordingly & you'll get the time and attention you need, thank you so much)

 

  • Clipper Cuts are not preformed at this salon.
  • Prices are standard & will increase based off length, density and detangle needs.
  • Yes, Behaved Children are accepted as clients.

 

 Will my hair be Washed here?

  • Yes, every service includes a wash
    Do you offer trims/cuts?
    • Yes, Trims/Cuts are included in The New Client offer and in all classes.
    • Trims/Cuts are an add on to all other PoppinCurls Salon Services. Never a service done alone. 
    • I will never take off more hair than what a client is comfortable with letting go of.

      Do you do dry cuts?

      • Yes, Dry cuts are preformed at this salon.

      Do you work on my Texture of hair?

        • Yes. If you have wavy, curly or coily hair that is thick, thin, course, fine, silky or kinky, This is the Salon for You.
        • This Salon has experience with ALL hair Types. All textures are welcomed and commemorated.

      Can I Bring Someone to My Appointment?

      • Due to the Intimate setting, There is no room for anyone other than the person Receiving Service. This Includes Parents, siblings, children, Spouse, and Friends. 
      • If you would like to learn how to do your child's hair please schedule the Mommi or Daddy N' Me.

      Do You Offer Color Services?

      • Not at this Time

      What is the PoppinCurls Experience?

      • With Maximum Hydration & Top Quality Products as the forefront, This Full Service Session is for new clients Looking to completely transformation & rejuvenate the curls they have never thought they've had.

        During this service Clients will receive:

        - In Depth Curl Consultation to discuss hair goals as The Specialist evaluates the Current State of Hair Health.

        - Verbal Curl education throughout Service.

        - Detoxifying of the hair and scalp.

        - Shape up or Trim for an Overall Flattering Look.

        - Hydration Therapy, an Treatment to infuse moisture into the hair and Scalp

        - Define & Style your natural Pattern

        - Personal Curl Regimen instructions & Education to set you up for success!

       

      Whats The difference between the PoppinCurls Experience and The One on One 🙌 Hands on PoppinCurls Experience?
      • The PoppinCurls Experience is a Full Service Session Preformed By the Curl Specialist while Verbally Educating you on your Specific texture Throughout Your appointment.
    • The One on one|  🙌 Hands on Experience is, a Full Service Hands on & Verbal Education and experience as the Curl Specialist Guides you through mastering your hair.
        • How Do I book an Appointment? What Should I Select?

          • If you are a new Client at PoppinCurls Salon, there is a new client Section  or Hands on Classes to select from. The Choice is Yours.

            When can I book an appointment?

            • On the 20th of Every month, the following month is open for Scheduling for New clients and the 15th for returning clients.
            • Ex;  on April 20th the month of May will be open for all appointments.
            • If there is nothing available when trying to book, this means there are no appointments available.

            If no Appointments are showing available it could be one or more of the following:

            A. All appointments are taken. Keep checking back here to see if an opening appears.

            B. And/or the calendar for the following month is not open yet. Check back on the 20th of every month, this is when the calendar opens.

            Do You have an cancellation list?

            • There is no Cancellation list. The best way to receive a canceled appointment is to visit the website Frequently to be first for available appointments. 

            What is your Reschedule/Cancellation Policy?

            • You are able to Cancel/reschedule your Appointment through your email free of charge, at any time, up to 48hrs before your appointment time.
            • Any Cancellations/reschedules after 48hrs will receive a 50% charge of service.
            • Any Cancellations/reschedules after 24hrs will receive a 100% charge of service.

              Do You offer Consultations?

              • Yes, Please Visit Booking Sight under New Client.

              Do You Work with Clients with Damaged Hair?

              • If You have damaged hair and you're not ready to let it go, I recommend adding on Twist in/out to the New Client PoppinCurls Experience.

              Does my Deposit Go toward my service?

              • Yes, Deposit are nonrefundable & will go Toward your service. The remaining balance will be due after your appointment. 

              What Payments do you Offer?
